The MathType School License is an affordable MathType site license program that eliminates the hassle of complicated software administration for K-12 schools and school districts.

Easy software administration	A single MathType product key, for each platform (Windows, Mac), is issued to the school or district.
No restrictions on the number of schools No restrictions on the number of computers No restrictions on concurrent use	A MathType School/District License allows MathType to be used on all computers within the control of faculty, staff and students of a participating school or school district. MathType can be installed on all: School computers and networks Home computers Portable computers
For both Windows and Macintosh platforms	A MathType School/District License eliminates the buying decision between Windows and Macintosh software by providing MathType for both platforms at no additional cost.
Pricing options to fit any budget	Choose between an Annual Subscription License and a Perpetual License. An Annual Subscription License includes free upgrades, and MathType can be used as long as the subscription payment is current. The number of math teachers at each school will be recounted every year. A Perpetual License means there is a one-time payment for the then-current version of MathType, to use forever. Upgrade purchases are optional, and upgrade notices will be sent when upgrades are released.
Upgrades	In June 2006, the pricing formula for all of our site licenses changed to prices listed below. Upgrade prices for Perpetual Licenses are 50% off the site license prices listed below. Upgrade prices for Subscription Licenses are 100% of the site license prices listed below.

Pricing:

MathType may be used on all computers within the control of faculty, staff, and students of the participating school or district. Pricing is determined by the combined number of full and part-time math teachers employed at each school (schools with less than 5 math teachers must pay for 5).

For a school district, count the combined number of full and part-math teachers employed at each school, and use the chart above to calculate the price per school. The cost of the school district license is the total of all prices per school.

Example: John Wayne Independent School District consists of 5 schools – 2 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. They want to purchase MathType for their middle and high schools. This is how they would compute the price of their district license:

McClintock Middle School	4 math teachers	5 × $51.30 = $256.50
Marion Morrison Middle School	6 math teachers	6 × $51.30 = $307.80
Rooster Cogburn High School	11 math teachers	11 × $48.45 = $532.95
Total	$1097.25

Upgrade Pricing:

Subscription Licenses are 100% of the prices listed above. Perpetual license upgrades are 50% off the prices listed above.

What will be delivered:

After the purchase order is processed we will email an invoice that is payable upon receipt. That email will also contain download instructions and important product keys needed to install MathType. Site licenses are electronic delivery (ESD) only.
